Companion Challenge #2 Crafting with Cristina- Altered cigar box

Hello again...what a pleasure to play again with Cristina in her 2nd Companion Challenge that this week is to Recycle something we possible will throw out... well first let me tell you my husband is a Cigar Lover and this box that I decided to recycle was about to hit the trash..

I made this box late last night, took the picture and then ask my self what I'm going to do with the box, well I work with 15 other ladies in my office between medical assistant, medical secretary and physicians which all have kids or grandkids.. so I took the box to work this morning and decided to do a raffle, there was so much excitement over my idea... they wanted to pay for the raffle.. no way .... this was my giveaway for Happy Thursday, at lunch time I draw the winner and one of the medical assistant won.. and we all have fun..

LATE NIGHT CREATIONS...

I was checking to create a late night card out of the sketch at Mojo Monday blog... but ones I started the card it turn to be my own creation...
A Hobby Lobby store just open here few exits north and I had to check it out... got some nice paper books from Design Studios and few spools of ribbon, part of tonight inspiration. Use Wild Card cartridge and my Gypsy on my cricut for the base of the card on craft paper, spellbinder Nestabilities, new ribbon and papers.
So here is my late night creation... not good for the Mojo Monday challenge.. but good enough for a b-day lady..

Hello again.. putting my creative mind to work with three of my favorite blogs challenges mix in one card... First Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge #8 is to use the cartridge Celebration..make a birthday theme project, i dont have this cartridge check my oldies.. found a 2005 cartridge Stamped and used the font in my gypsy welding and twisting the letters.."HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY" fun playing with it. At Peachy keen blog chllange#33 to use a nice sketch.. I moved the elements in my card, to me the sketch was my inspiration, and the best for last.. Made by Momos challenge #8 Girly affair.. made a card as girly as possible... a co-worker ask me to make a card for her niece that is turning 21 next week... this was perfect..

Throwback Thursday#7 My creative time with Emma and Cardz TV challenge #3 Christmas in July, Cricut Cardz challenge#33

Hello again...
At Creative Time with Emma her Throwback Thursday Challenge # 7 is to make your favorite holiday card with the cricut cartridge Wild Card... I love to make Christmas cards.. so I when for the base and envelope in Page 52 Doily and mixed with a wreath from Joy of the Season on Page 66 in my Gypsy, used SEI collection paper Glitzmas in love with all those papers.. At Cardz TV the challenge #3 Christmas in July is to make a Christmas card to use either ribbon, lace or buttons. I add to my Christmas card few red and green mini buttons and a organza ribbon bow just the touches my card needed..
Since we needed to create a card for Emma, I also join the Cricut cardz challenge #33, make a card using the card feature from any cartridge, using any colors or theme you'd like.

Crafting with Cristina Companion Challenge #1 and Color throwdown #101

Our friend Cristina at Crafting with Cristina his having a new challenge every other wednesday called Companion challenge where she is going to have a guest companion with a project to follow, the first companion is Momo check her blog Made by Momo, for this challenge Cristina want us to create a interactive card that Flip- Flop, Spin & pop.
I never done a interactive card... so I did a search and found a tutorial in You-tube on this Peek-a-boo card.. I when for a birthday card with a window that when you open changes image.. from one happy face with close eyes to open eyes..

Christmas in July challenge #2 at CARDZ TV

At CARDZ TV the second Christmas in July challenge is to create a card with a SNOWMAN image, could be a cricut image, digi or stamp..
I love this stamp Snowman from Inkadinkado, I got many cute papers from S.E.I website in clearance after christmas.. and really was looking forward to using this collection, I just got also the spellbinder label eight, is a pretty big size so I cut this card with the larger die that is a good size card. 4.25X5.5.

Tuesday challenge with Made by Momo and Peachy Keen Stamp challenge

At Peachy Keen blog they having a challenge on your favorite vacation destination and to use on of this three "B"'s Buttons, Brats or Blings.. I when for brats on my sun... this layout also goes for Momo's Tuesday challenge at her blog Made by Momo her theme for the challenge was to create a project about love.. My Layout is about our honeymoon vacation... we took a cruise to western Caribbean and Roatan Island was our second port stop.. beautiful beach in Mohagany Bay, where we kaiak in the river next to the beach, relax in the beautiful beach in a nice float, had pina coladas and enjoy each other. That is part of my favorite vacation with the love of my life.. I best of all this challenges made me start my honeymoon album.. For this project I used my gypsy mixing cuts from Life is a Beach and Zoo Balloo. I will be making more layouts from pictures of Roatan.
